This year's event will take place on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 8:30AM to 2:30PM.
Math Teachers' Day provides high and middle school math teachers with a unique opportunity to participate in workshops led by SUNY Geneseo professors at the SUNY Geneseo campus. The workshops focus on mathematics ccontent and pedagogy aligned with New York State Mathematics standards.
Participants can choose from four workshops throughout the day. The schedule includes a warm welcome, two morning workshops, a mid-day luncheon, two concurrent afternoon workshop sessions, and concluding remarks.

"Optimization for Sustainability in the Mathematics Classroom" with Ahmad Almomani
12:00-1:00 Lunch
1:00 - 2:30 Session III (two workshops to choose from)
"Matrices in Action" with Dawn Aguilar
"Where is the Math (and Science) in Computer Science" with Doug Baldwin
2:30 - 2:45 Closing remarks
